Tables contained in this publication include: labour force characteristics by age and sex (this includes working age population, labour force, employment, full/part-time employment, unemployment, participation rate, unemployment rate, employment rate and part-time rate); employment by class of worker (public sector, private sector and self-employed) and by industry; labour force characteristics by province, by metropolitan area and by economic region; average usual hours and wages of employees by age and sex, union coverage, job permanency and occupation groups; and regional unemployment rates used by the Employment Insurance Plan
